'Do', the path, is at the heart of Asian philosophy. It extends throughout life and perhaps beyond.
It is not important to be able to do or master something; what is more important is the willingness to work on oneself. If one follows this path, it is possible to acquire skills that initially
seemed unthinkable. The greatest enemy is one's own limiting thinking.

When I apply this thinking to music, the nature of my preparation changes. I no longer practice in order to “be able” to do something, but rather I try to constantly develop myself further:
musically, by learning to know and understand as many types of music as possible, and technically, in order to be able to meet all challenges.
As a musician, it is not important to master a piece;
you have to be equal to it.
